Students will engage in the scientific analysis of hair and pollen samples, fiber samples, blood types, and learn about DNA profiling. They’ll test their powers of observation, and be challenged to implement authentic lie detection techniques as they examine suspects’ statements.
In the culminating activity, students will analyze all of their scientific findings, and using their keen deductive reasoning, point their fingers at the guilty party.
