Staff Training and Implementation

Online training is included with all purchases, with a number of flexible training options available that can be customized based on the number of people trained and time available. The best recommendation for training is to conduct the initial training on site with trainers and/or site teachers. Then after the initial start of their courses, schedule a follow-up online session to focus on specific questions. Phone and email support are available at any time, as needs arise. Additional online resources in the form of vocabulary extensions, web references and assessments are also available. Below is a brief description of each delivery system.

On-Site Training
A training facilitator will deliver at your site a comprehensive, hands-on demonstration which includes all supplies, support documents and travel expenses to one location. The training walks participants through the design of a course kit topic, the configuration and intent of each lesson and demonstrations of the most intricate hands-on activities. These sessions can be augmented with online follow up session and/or phone support on any needed area. Group Size: Up to 15, Duration: 3 hours. Pricing determined by location and number of topics.

Train-the-Trainer Session
The train-the-trainer session works in a similar fashion as the Instructor Training when done on site, allowing for time to review a training plan and outline for the trainers implementation. This may include those leading smaller trainings and organizations on an annual basis or directing their teachers to our online resources after an initial orientation. Group Size: Up to 5, Duration: 3 hours.
Pricing determined by location and number of topics.

Online Training

Online sessions are ideal when on-site options are not practical and include shorter sessions with a more succinct agenda. Introductory sessions include an overview of the topic area, design of course materials, how to work with supplies and managing time frames. These introductory sessions then are followed-up with more specific advice on more intricate lab set-up and teacher demonstrations. Both sessions will include links to our online resources that will offer support throughout various stages of the course
.
On Demand Resources

In addition to above options, we are developing narrative tutorials that focus on each lesson's objectives, hands-on activity and quick summaries for teachers to review prior to delivering a lesson. These will be available on our website and will be accessible on mobile smart phones in the near future.

Program Matrix and Pacing Plans
If you have a unique scheduling need or help in creating a programming matrix around our courses, we can assist in creating a clear view of your programming picture. In some cases, sites need a pacing plan for our courses to work into an existing schedule, which we're also be happy to provide.
